Candy Crush The Game
The game is
a variation of "match three" games. Each level has a different shaped
grid filled with candies of three to six different colors and sometimes
obstacles. The basic move of the game consists of swapping two candies'
positions to align sets of three of the same color, whereupon they disappear,
causing candies above them to collapse into the space left behind, often
resulting in chain reactions. The level's objectives must be met before the
player runs out of moves (or time on timed levels); in each case, the player
must earn enough points to get the first star (out of 3) in the scoring system.
Costly
After
losing five lives, you become locked out of the game for half an hour, or you
can buy lives, for real money, to keep playing straight away. This is where
Facebook comes in handy; you can send out requests to fellow players for new lives.
Not only
lives can be bought. For $2.30 you can buy a lollipop hammer to help remove
chosen sweets. Or, for $43, you can paint stripes on a sweet at any time to
eliminate entire rows.
Because of
the high chance of becoming addicted to the game, it can cost you quite a lot
of cash to play on.
